Description
Come and join me for a Contemporary flower painting workshop in the classroom of the stunning Botanical Gardens of Sheffield! We’ll have lots of fun with acrylic paints, glue and collage, working from a fresh bouquet of flowers. I’ll help you to explore colour and textures and really get into the flower of creating your own beautiful painting to take home at the end of the day.
The workshop is from 10.30am till 4.30pm with a break to eat our packed lunches in the spectacular abundance of Sheffield Botanical Gardens. I’ll supply all the materials, so all you need to bring is your packed lunch and an apron – or wear clothes you won’t mind getting paint on! I’ll supply teas and coffees with cow’s milk or oat milk, or you can buy yourself a speciality coffee from Joni’s café at the top of the Gardens!
Address details: Classroom 3. The Dorothy Fox Education Centre, Thompson Road entrance, Broomhall, Sheffield. S11 8RB. There is plenty of street parking (with meters)in the surrounding roads. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of the workshop so you can grab a tea or coffee before we start.
