Incredible Artists that I’ve had the privilege of having had personal tuition from;
Aine Divine. Heat winner and runner up in Sky Portrait Artist of the Year and Winner of Star Portraits.
I found my time in Edinburgh with Aine was life-changing. She is a hugely inspirational teacher and incorporates well-being and psychology into her workshops, whilst also demonstrating her awesome and inspiring techniques. Aine helped me to paint very freely and to be in tune with my ‘inner artist’ so that I could paint in an intuitive style. You can see some of her joyous, spontaneous and beautiful work here; http://www.ainedivinepaintings.co.uk/
I followed Adebanji around South Cornwall with my paints and easel and we painted together for a whole week. What a fantastic experience that was! Adebanji is just so inspiring, he gets so excited and enthusiastic about his painting and it really is infectious. He taught me to use ‘one stroke’ and his method of painting from the ‘inside out’. His work is extraordinarily beautiful and you can find it here; http://www.adebanjialade.co.uk/
Wow! What a fabulous and fun time I had learning from Lynne. She’s so funny and had us all rushing around Sheffield (including jumping in and out of taxis!) sketching buildings, people, anything that moved and quite few things that didn’t. Lynne really taught me to draw quickly and spontaneously, to capture the moment. Using watercolours, some collage, coloured pencils and inks, it really realised the Urban sketcher within me and pushed my sketching to a new and exciting level.
